Issue ati2dvag blue screen : There is a reduced quality in your computers display. The computer might boot and show the smallest screen resolution then switch to a bigger screen resolution once windows has booted. Your system blue screens on bootup and displays a stop code.
Causes :
Incompatibility issues with Windows XP and faulty / buggy drivers could result
in the ati2dvag blue screen error. But, this has not been confirmed and it looks
like some hardware settings in ATI are likely able to cause a fatal system
failure
Resolution :
Reseat the ATI video card in its slot. It could be a lose connection on the card
that is causing the ati2dvag blue screen of death issue. Remove your ATI video
card, and blow the connections on the video card and on the motherboard.
Then carefully insert the video card back in to the same slot
It
is possible your ATI video card is overheating?? Is the fan working correctly?
Is it spinning fast enough? WD40 could help it spinner better
Do you have dual ATI cards installed in your system? If yes take one out and
only use one in an effort to identify if one of the ati video cards are faulty.
